After last year's success, this year you have another opportunity to take part in one of the beautiful running or walking distances along the Leiden canals. Join us at the Leiden University Meeting Point, a hub for both students and employees of Leiden University. After grabbing your race bib, drop by for a chat and to receive you free Leiden University Runner Shirt.

- Location: Tent village on the Garenmarkt.
- When: Sunday, May 12th, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Leiden Marathon
On Sunday, May 12th, run along in one of the following distances: 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, or 5 km. Alternatively, on Saturday, you can opt for one of the walking routes (42 km, 21 km, or 10 km).
Secure your spot by registering (while starting numbers are still available) via the Leiden Marathon website until May 8 at 12 PM. Given last year's sold-out races, don't delay: register now!
Not a runner but still want to be part of the excitement? The Leiden Marathon offers non-runners opportunities to contribute, such as bag security, aid station crew, setup and breakdown, and course assistance. Registration is open, they are still looking for new volunteers.
Are you a student? Register for the Open Dutch Student Championships! Leiden students are ready to challenge peers from across the Netherlands and beyond. Who will prove to be the fastest student, and which team will claim victory?

Did you know that from May 13 to May 19, everyone gets free access to the University Sports Centre in Leiden and The Hague during the Open Sports Week? Throughout the week, join our group classes, work out in one of our three gym locations, or reserve an outdoor field for tennis or beach volleyball. Registration for the Open Sports Week begins on April 15 and can be done through our website (my.uscleiden.com) or our app (available on Android or iOS). Starting May 13, you can also purchase our summer subscription!
