House Rules
At all locations of the University Sports Centre, everyone is required to adhere to the following rules. Failure to comply may result in denial or revocation of access to USC locations if behavior warrants such action.
- Treat others with respect and inclusivity.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises of the University Sports Centre, including indoor and outdoor areas, as well as all grounds in and around the sports fields.
- Participation in or use of sports activities, sports equipment, and/or sports facilities while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication, or substances classified as doping is not allowed.
- Hard drugs and soft drugs, as defined by the Opium Act, are prohibited.
- Pets are not allowed (except for assistance dogs).
- Wear appropriate sportswear. Exercising with a bare upper body or lower body is not permitted.
- In sports halls and the fitness area, wear appropriate, clean shoes that have not been worn outdoors.
- On outdoor sports facilities, wear suitable footwear.
- Use a towel when entering fitness areas and group lessons.
- Empty your locker after use.
- Park your bicycle in the designated bicycle parking area.
- Do not bring glassware during sports activities.
- It is prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages or to consume self-brought alcoholic drinks.
- Sharing or distributing self-brought food and drinks is not allowed (unless specific permission has been granted).
- Handle USC sports equipment with care and responsibility.
- Taking photos or other recordings of other athletes or visitors is not permitted. Taking any recordings in the changing rooms is strictly forbidden.
- In case of emergencies, follow the instructions of USC staff.
