Student Well - Being Week
During the Student Well - Being Week, all Leiden University students could go to the University Sports Centre and The Buzz for free for a sporty group lesson. The starting point was to motivate the students to actively work on their own mental and physical health.
The students could participate in group lessons such as Kangoo Jump, X-core, (Power)Yoga, Pole-Dancing and Boxing.
We were very pleased to notice that the group lessons at our sports centre were very well attended. The students went home enthusiastically after a relaxing or challenging sports lesson.
As far as we are concerned, the Student Well - Being Week was a great success. Hopefully it has also inspired many students to think more often about their own well-being. And hopefully there will also be more focus on mental and physical health in the future.
