USC Online and at Home
In the coming weeks we will do our best in various ways to help you get through this closing period as fit and healthy as possible! We do this, for example, by offering live classes on Instagram, videos with short and long workouts that you can do at home (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook) and by posting relevant articles.
Tips to stop overeating
Now all fitness clubs across the country are closed doesn’t mean you should throw your healthy lifestyle overboard. Situations that cause us stress can also get us to a point that we get demotivated and start overeating.
How to Find the Best At-Home Workouts for You
“While home workouts are convenient, there is also the possibility to blow them off because, well, you can always to it later,” says Kathryn Schmitz, PhD, president of the American College of Sports Medicine. "As such, plan for a home workout as if it's a spinning class and you need to arrive in time to get your favorite bike," she says, or block that tempting TV remote with your workout clothes.
Automation course registrations
Attention all athletes. Starting in unit 5 and onwards, you can only register for courses (all courses, including indoor football) if you have a valid membership for the entire course period. You can register with one or more subscriptions as long as they cover the entire period of the course without leaving a gap. This also means that you do not have to have a valid subscription at the time…
The USC starts with a running course!
Do you also want to appear at the start during the Leiden Marathon weekend? Then register for the course that starts on March 3.
Under professional guidance you will be guided as a starting runner to be able to run 5 km. Can you already run 5 km and is the 10 km or half marathon your goal? Then join the advanced group.
