Piloxing at the USC

Piloxing has been all the rage in Hollywood for years and now it’s finally made it over to the Netherlands. But what exactly is Piloxing?

Piloxing is a mix of Pilates, dance and boxing. It combines the speed and dexterity of boxing with the flexibility of Pilates. The result is a workout that both burns calories and strengthens muscles. According to its inventor, Swedish dancer Viveca Jensen, it’s guaranteed to get you into shape and you’ll love the challenging and fun classes. Apparently you’ll end up feeling 'sleek, sexy and powerful'.

Your Piloxing class starts with a boxing session, followed by a Pilates session, then another boxing session. This is repeated 3 times and takes about 35 minutes. Following that you take to your mat for more Pilates exercises, then finish up with a well-deserved cooling-down session.

Important to know: Piloxing must be done barefoot or wearing anti-slip socks!
