The brand new swimming pool in Leiden, Combibad De Vliet, located at Marie Diebenplaats 100, will also be opening its doors. Therefore, Vijf Meibad will be officially closed down. On June 5, 12 and 19, the University Sports Centre organized three free Pilates sessions for all employees of Leiden University. A large number of employees took this opportunity to relax after a hard day's work. Our Pilates instructor Smaranda gave the classes with great pleasure, in which muscle strengthening exercises and stretches were alternated with more relaxing exercises.
