USC starts with outside HIIT in The Hague
The USC starts on Monday March 1 in The Hague with High Intensity Interval Training outside. The training is a "body weight" training that is given at the Malieveld. This means that you don't have to bring anything. Make sure you are wearing sports shoes that can get dirty and that you have a bottle of water with you. For the training we gather behind the coffee house next to the skate park. From there you walk to the training location with the trainer. You can leave your sports bag at the training location.
Confirm your attendance with QR code
Starting from Monday March 1, signs with QR codes will be displayed at all tennis courts. Members who have made a reservation must confirm their attendance by scanning the QR code in the USC Access Control App. This does not apply to the USC tennis courses, only for reservations with a USC subscription. We will also start this check-in procedure a week later at the beach volleyball fields and the combination field (football / rugby). From Monday March 8 this means that you also have to confirm your attendance by scanning the QR code. This does not apply to Student Sports Associations training, only for reservations by USC members.
Asian Salmon Bowl
One of the ingredients used in this tasteful and healthy recipe is a herb called lemongrass.
Lemongrass grows in tropical climates and looks a bit like green onions. The white core of the lemongrass stalk has a subtle lemon-floral taste and therefor lemongrass is often used in the Thai-, Indian-, Indonesian- and Vietnamese cuisine.
Relaxation of corona measures after March 3
Good news at last! In the period from March 3, up to and including at least March 15, it is possible to resume a part of our sports activities. That means that you can finally enjoy sports again at the USC.
How do you handle waste
Each year, every person in the Netherlands throws out an average of 500 kilograms of garbage. This causes a significant loss of energy and contributes to CO2 emissions, as the garbage needs to be burned. Time to change this!
