​Celebrating 75 years of freedom

Nowadays, we know no different than that we can live in freedom. Yes, we do have work to do and taxes to pay, but no time has been this drenched with freedom as it is today. We are free to wear whatever we like, hang out with the people we like (well, currently with a little physical distance), listen to the music we like and most of all, say what we want. Of course, some people take it to the extreme and choose to offend people with their freedom, but on average, most people use this tremendous opportunity to try and make this world a better place. On this day that has been our token of freedom for already 75 years, I would like to propose to do something for each other. May it be something small or huge.

Corona feels like a mirror for me. A mirror that is hammering me to take intensive care of myself. I feel like I am stimulated to close my eyes these days. To really see what is happening inside. In a state of open eyes I go out, have drinks on a sunny terrace and have several appointments with other people on a day. Without this social distraction I face myself even more. Not always pleasant, but extremely potent.

Sending you positive vibes

Already several weeks have gone by that the whole world is under the spell of Covid 19, and it seems to last for an eternity. These past weeks have been represented by social (or I would rather like to speak of physical) distancing, where we try to stay at a distance of 1.5m from each other. The news has literally been overloaded by updates, what is going on at the front line (the hospitals) and what is going on abroad. Especially now, with the stress that is accompanied with all the regulations, maybe also people you know that have been a ‘victim’ of Covid 19 and ofcourse a highly changed daily routine, your mental health can be largely impacted for the worse.
