We’re back! Ice skating with your USC membership
The cold months are on their way, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to get back on the ice! From 7 October 2025 to 31 March 2026, USC members can enjoy skating every Tuesday evening from 20:30 to 23:00 at IJshal De Vliet. For just €3 per session, you can glide your way into the winter season. Don’t forget: registration is required via the USC Leiden App.
Skating at De Vliet is not only a fun winter tradition, but also a surprisingly effective workout. It strengthens your legs, boosts your fitness, and helps clear your head after a long day of studying. Whether you move smoothly across the rink or are still finding your balance, everyone is welcome. IJshal de Vliet offers a relaxed atmosphere and excellent facilities for both recreational and more ambitious skaters.
Practical information:
- Only with a valid USC membership can you skate at the USC rate of €3 per session.
- Advance booking is required via the USC App. You can access the rink by scanning the QR code at the entrance of IJshal De Vliet. Payment is made at the front desk.
- Skates and helmets can be rented on site (from 1 January, wearing a helmet will be mandatory). With your USC membership, you also receive a €2 discount on skate rental.
