Leiden Shines at GNSK: Remarkable Success and Aspirations for the Future

Stichting Studentensport Leiden wrote an article highlighting the participation of a few sporters from Leiden in the Dutch Student Championships (GNSK).

‘Two weeks ago, the Dutch Student Championship (GNSK) took place in Wageningen, and it was a memorable event. Representing Leiden, a group of 15 talented sporters participated in various disciplines, including tennis, volleyball, powerlifting, and fencing. Despite the 30-degree temperature on the track, they gave their best effort in the warm sports hall. We are happy to announce that several of our sporters achieved a remarkable success, earning the well-deserved honor of a medal. Congratulations to them!

Throughout their performance, our sporters were supported and motivated by Tiemen and Annette from the USC, and Dorus representing SSL. Their presence and encouragement played a vital role in boosting the team's morale. Despite being a smaller delegation, Leiden managed to secure the 14th position in the city ranking - an improvement compared to last year. However, our aspirations don't end here. We aim to build an even larger group next year and strive for a place among the top 10.’
