Fitness schedule

Are you interested in a fitness or training schedule? Then, visit one of the three USC locations (USC main building, Plex-Fit and The Buzz). Register at the fitness desk to schedule an appointment. This is not possible via the USC app. When making the appointment, we write down information about the customer, so that we can make a suitable schedule. Consider, for example: injuries, whether or not you have experience, how often the athlete plans to come and train, other sports and the training goals. Goals of athletes can be very diverse. Examples are: reducing fat percentage, building more muscle mass and strength, recovery after an injury, a fitness schedule to support another sport, improving fitness, or just staying fit.

Beginner Fitness Client

For a beginner we keep the schedule simple. In most cases it is a total-body schedule on the fixed devices. After a short warm-up, the fitness instructor shows the client how to perform the exercises on the schedule. The fitness instructor then determines his or her personal settings, such as chair height and weight, together with the customer. Proper execution of the exercise is important, which is why the instructor gives instructions and tips to the customer during the training.

With a starting schedule, beginners who come to train on average 2 to 3 times a week can work independently for about 10-12 weeks. After this period, a new appointment (in person at the fitness desk) can be booked for a new schedule. In a follow-up schedule, for example, exercises on the fixed equipment can be combined with free weights.

Experienced Fitness Client

We often make a split-training schedule for athletes with more experience, and who have a fixed routine to train in the gym 3 or 4 times a week, for example. With a split training schedule, the muscle groups are divided over the number of training days. This allows you to perform more exercises per muscle group, so that you can often achieve better results in terms of muscle building and toning.

Do you have training goals you want to achieve? Then the USC offers extra support. Our staff is very accessible and athletes can always come to us with questions about an exercise or tips. Fitness can, with the right guidance, be very varied and challenging, and.. you can achieve serious results!
