Starting from Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 10 p.m.
With the tightening of the COVID-19 measures, a number of adjustments will be made at the locations of the University Sports Center in Leiden and The Hague.
In concrete terms for the University Sports Center Leiden and The Hague, the following applies in addition to the existing rules:
Period from November 4, 10:00 p.m. to November 18

- Individual sports are allowed in groups of 2, both indoors and outdoors, provided that 1.5 meters are kept within the groups. Several groups are allowed to exercise at the same time, provided that there is a 1.5 meter distance between the groups. (This was a maximum of 4 people and is now 2 people).
- Swimming pools are closed.
- All other measures also remain in effect.
The measures be in effect until at least November 18. As soon as we know about the measures from 19 November, we will inform everyone.
Changes in our Fitness locations
In order to create more fitness possibilities, we are going to install fitness equipment at the entrance / café in the USC main building. We’ll try to get this up and running as soon as possible and we’ll inform everyone once it’s set up. For The Buzz in The Hague, we will temporarily place more fitness equipment in the Round Dance hall in order to increase the capacity there for the next two weeks.
Changed opening hours
The USC closes at 6:00 PM on Saturdays instead of 8:30 PM. End of sport at 5.30 pm. This is up to and including December 16.
