Steps at the USC

Steps is also great for burning off fat and for the leg and buttock muscles. Steps is like running up and down the stairs in a hundred different ways. At the beginning of each lesson the basic steps which you have mastered are placed in a certain order and applied to create a dynamic and challenging choreography which can easily be followed by all-comers.

By taking part in the group classes you can enhance your social network while working out and let the group keep you motivated to keep going! Alternate your group classes with specific strength training in the gym for better core stability, more muscle strength and overall stability. This will make you stronger, fitter and more vital. Our fitness instructors are happy to help you create a specific training schedule.

Participate in Steps

Steps is an independent subdivision of the combination of ‘moving to music’ lessons which are taught here. Different aerobic exercises are also used in steps. This is usually done in a combined lesson consisting of  half an hour of aerobics and half an hour of steps. So these lessons are linked but they can also be followed individually, with everyone taking part at his or her own level.
